2024 May 18 | Waikiki Trolley red line, Ya-Ya's Steakhouse

We saw the pink line, but we didn't want that one.

We waited for the red line, which went around downtown.

Us on it.

This one was much more crowded; many people had to stand.

So much that the seats in our trolley were getting wet. This woman stood up and to the side.

The woman beside Ogii used a poncho to cover her legs.

Ogii just got wet.

Thankfully it was still warm.

People waiting for the trolley.

The trolley had free ponchos.

So Ogii grabbed a couple for us.

The next group getting on.

We walked a few blocks home. Everyone was huddled inside the buildings to stay out of the rain.

It was coming down especially hard around some areas of the roofs.

Like here.

Our ponchos kept at least our top parts dry.

Ogii dodging a big section of water.

These women didn't seem to mind the rain much.

They were jumping in the puddles.

Rather deep at the crosswalk.

Better to cross a bit farther away.

We ate dinner at Ya-Ya's Chophouse.
