2024 Sep 19 | Baltic cruise on NCL Dawn, day 5 - Berlin, Germany

Today's Freestyle Daily.

For Warnemunde, Germany.

It's pretty quiet, still.

A few buildings.

And not much else.

A Ferris wheel in the distance to the right.

And a bowling place to the left. I guess if the highways all got shut down and we couldn't go anywhere, we could just stay here and do those.

Long line for breakfast.

I love the hash.

And we're off.

Warnemunde is a district in the city of Rostock. We're at the Warnemunde Cruise Center at the Rostock Port.

Some bathrooms inside.

Our tour buses waiting for us. We took a Viator bus tour to Berlin because it was about a third of what the official NCL cruise cost and always got back to port on time according to the reviews.

This one is ours.

Free mini bottles of alcohol on the bus.

A coffee maker and a bathroom inside.

We had a full bus of around 40 people. That's good; if we're back to port late, they'll be more likely to wait for 40 people rather than five.

We left exactly on time; very German.

The ship.

You can also take a train to Berlin, but then you have to also get around the city once you're there.

Taking pictures.
