2024 Nov 25 | SE Asia cruise - day 11 - Ko Samui, Thailand - coconut plantation, Plai Laem Temple, Big Buddha
We took tenders to get to Ko Samui, Thailand.
Cellar Masters...
... is showing the NFL games.
A second one.
They also had some drinks and rolls.
Pictures of dishes sculptures around the drink stations in the buffet.
Chocolate sculptures.
Breakfast.
Then onto a tender.
They really jammed us in.
So it was really stuffy. This woman opened the window in front of her while we were loading, then closed it when we started moving.
Which was lucky for her, because just a few seconds later, a big wave hit, which would have soaked her.
Our ship out at sea.
Onto our bus.
The seats have both types of USB plugs to charge your phone, very nice.
We sat on opposite sides so we could get pictures on both sides of the bus.
One way to tell if a clothing item is more expensive is if the pictures on the pockets line up with the rest of the fabric. My Reyn Spooner aloha shirt does.
My new elephant pants from the local market in Thailand do not.

It started to rain, so they pulled their goods inside.
These women were already under the roof, so the rain didn't bother them.
It was pouring; water was starting to build up in the street.
We hid inside for a while, but our bus was going to leave soon, so we had to go out before the rain stopped.
Even with an umbrella, we got soaked, especially our pants. Good thing they're lightweight and will dry fast.
Passing a beach.
Colorful hotel.
The masseuses on the left were excited when the bus passed by; the ones on the right, not so much.
Large elephant sculptures.
A cut piece of tree hanging in the electrical wires. I wonder if it's likely to cause any problems.

We also each had a Thai beer.

Good thing they had the plastic walls.
Psilocybin mushrooms are officially illegal but commonly sold openly by businesses.

And dancing.
The full cast. The guys on the ends with their shirts off performed some acrobatics during the show.
Some of the game shows were in this open area in a hallway rather than in a room.
