Sunrise.
Straight out to sea.
This drawer handle is a little loose.
My screwdriver is too long to fit in the drawer, but using the head alone works.
Putting the computer desk back together.
Thankfully I had taken good enough pictures when disassembling it that I got it correct.
Then the keyboard drawer.
Opening the office chair box.
Still in great shape.
Ogii all set up to work. She decided she wanted to be here instead of by the living room, and since we still had an office chair mat for carpet from Honolulu, I returned the hardwood floor one.
Wearing full biker gear in Hawaii would be pretty hot, but if you fall, it's going to be pretty damaging.
Buying some stuff at Home Depot.
WD-40 wasn't on my list, but that's always useful.
I didn't know they made tear-away microfiber cleaning cloths. That's pretty nice.
A few termite sprays.
We wanted a deck box.
This one was 50 gallons.
This one looked much nicer and was 150 gallons.
I called Ogii to make sure it would fit.
I don't think you need a thermometer in Hawaii; it's always about the same.
I bought a razer scraper just to remove these numbers Young Brothers put on the RAV4 when they shipped it.
It worked great. I don't think I'll need the scraper again, though; too bad I couldn't have rented it for 50 cents to use for 3 minutes and saved some money.
Then to Target for some other stuff. They have skinny and thick Scotch tape, but not the normal size. That's not acceptable to me.
These are the right size, but they're weird colors. That's no good, either.
A cookie sheet.
Alone, the big one is $5. The big one with a small one is $16 for the same brand and size. That makes no sense; it should be like $8.
This green strainer is collapsable, which is really neat.
Robot vacuums. Ogii said she was going to have to sweep the floors in our new place a lot, so maybe we should get one of these to make it easier for her.
The basic one is 70% off and only $80.
A nicer one is 65% off to be $650.
The highest-end one they had wasn't on sale at all. Maybe they figure people who are really rich don't care about savings at all; they just want the best of the best.
This one seems to have a lot of features.
You can add water for it to mop and it has automatic emptying.
And this little arm that pops out of the side to get edges.
Pizza Hut has Spam pizza.
Yoda.
Some girls up in a plumeria tree picking flowers.
Putting the deck box together.
Popping the sides in place was very fast, but it took longer to screw in all of the corners to stabalize it.
We bought these tables at Ross to put the chess sets on.
Then went over to Food Truck Friday in the Target parking lot.
There were many vendors.
Shave ice.
Sushi.
Asian mix.
Polynesian.
Raclette cheese.
Boba.
Lemon peel snacks.
Hawaiian.
Various items.
BBQ.
Burgers.
Piroshky.
Caribbean.
BBQ.
Cookies.
Clothing.
Desserts.
More items.
These guys were closing up.
Long line for Mexican.
A start of a rainbow on the way home.
Growing.
All the way.
Our dinner.
Sunset.
Wine.
From Volcano Winery.
The bed is very high as the frame has drawers, so Ogii is using this cooler as a step stool.
A gecko eating bugs.
I don't know if he can eat them all.
There are also a bunch in the bottom of the sliding door.
A large home with a lot of land next to us.
It just sold last month.
They orginally wanted $2.8 million for it, but it sold for a third less, $1.8 million.
A tiny gecko on one of the chess set tables.
The robot vacuum gets a little stuck on the bottoms of the tables we bought for the chess sets, but it pulls itself off OK.
It also has a little trouble with the sliding door slots, but again, it gets away.
Watching sunset.
Colorful.
Dinner and wine.
Even though we're right by a major road, we don't hear much traffic at night like we did in Waikiki. However, the coqui frogs are very loud. We much prefer the frogs to the cars.
