2025 Jun 22 | MSC Seascape Caribbean cruise - day 7, 8 - at sea, departure, flying to Bismarck

The last full day before the cruise is done is a sea day. We had breakfast at Butcher's Cut.

In the evening, it's a steakhouse, but in the morning, they serve free ordered breakfast.

Wire-frame cow heads.

And a wire-frame bull.

Quotes on the wall.

Opposites: the left is for helping poor people around the world, the right is for diamonds likely mined by enslaved poor people around the world.

Cool wine glass wall.

Our collection of freebies is growing.

Checking the luggage weight to make sure it's under the airlines maximum.

We had one free Formula F1 race in the arcade since we were gold members through status match. There was a bit of a wait, so I decided to do the Robotron beforehand.

These women looked nervous.

I rode it with this kid who had already ridden it multiple times this cruise; the operator knew him by name.

It wasn't as fast as a rollercoaster, although it did spin us around.

Then back to the arcade for the F1 race.

This says there are multiple courses, but they only ran the same course for all the people we watched.

Last-day sale.

An employee putting out more purses.

Perfumes.

I sprayed a bunch of different colognes on my arm and had Ogii smell them to see which she liked the best.

We had lunch at the pay Mexican restaurant, Hola! Tacos.

You could pick how hot you wanted your salsa.

The chips had a bit of seasoning on them.

The tacos only had a little bit of meat.

Ogii's food.

You could see down into the water from here.

My MSC app was getting buggy and kept closing when I tried to scroll down through the day's activities. Good thing it's the last day.

Departure schedule. We're going to carry our own bags, so we go first.

They want everyone out of their rooms by 7:30am.

They had a "snow party" by the pool, but the "snow" looks to only be some a little bit of foam by the stage.

The chairs by the pools were packed, but these to the sides were more available.

Watching people on the waterslide from underneath.

We went back to Butcher's Cut for dinner.

Great bread variety.

Tomato soup for me.

Bone marrow for Ogii.

A rib eye for me.

And lamb for Ogii.

Different sauces.

Creme brule for Ogii.

Lava cake for me.

The final show in the theater.

Then more of the staff.

The chefs playing with eggs at Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant.

Sunset.

A singer in Le Cabaret Rouge.

And a violinist.

Then a game show in Uptown Lounge.

She can do the splits.

He cannot.

We hadn't found any ducks on the cruise, but we found one in the elevator tonight.

A tiny one.

Arriving in Miami the next morning.

The sun rising.

Many ships.

Sea-themed tiles in the cruise port.

Driving past all of the other cruise lines.

A line of ships.

Skyscrapers.

Construction.

A mall.

Miami airport.

It was freezing inside. Many people were wearing winter coats. They shouldn't have A/C so low that it's uncomfortable.

Can't let Ogii see the shopping list.

Lunch at Nathan's Hot Dogs.

A store there had rum cakes.

A pretty piece of art.

Leaving Miami.

So many boats.

We were supposed to land in Denver, but the strong winds were preventing that. We circled until we ran out of gas, then diverted to Colorado Springs. We thought we might have to rent a car and drive back to Denver, but United automatically put us on a flight back there.

Everyone was ready to get off, but then they said they were going to refuel and fly back to Denver in this plane.

Go go go.

Racing other planes back to Denver.

These are the people with close connections. Unfortunately many people missed their connections, including the people in front of us by five minutes. Good thing we had a three-hour layover, and our next flight was delayed a bit.

It was still windy around Denver. A kid behind us threw up, and then the woman beside us did as well.

Pretty sea-turtle luggage covers.

Uh oh, they dropped our bag on the ground. Thankfully they picked it up later.

There is nobody in line at McDonald's.

But there's a huge line at Panda Express. I would have thought it was the opposite.

Many outlets between the seats, that's great.

I love their fries.

Monica had mentioned Bjorn's Colorado Honey, and we passed at kiosk of it at the airport.

So we bought some for us and for the family. Ogii was wearing her Hawaiian islands necklace, and the clerk recognized where it was. He was from Guam.

Our flight was delayed again.

It looks like they're finally loading our luggage.

We were supposed to land in Bismarck at 11:38pm; we actually landed at 1:00am.

The flight crew had a hotel shuttle waiting for them.

There weren't many ride shares operating this late.

This woman kept trying to get one and couldn't. The security didn't have any advice for her when she asked.

But one finally showed up for her.

Worst case, she could have tried taking a scooter into town, although it might not be very safe on the roads in the middle of the night.

We had requested a shuttle to our airport, but the shuttle driver didn't want to come pick us up, so the hotel manager got us in her personal vehicle.

A nice picture in our hotel room.

A video of the cruise. I didn't take any video in the ports, just on the ship.
