He's got some fur missing and sores in some spots. I wonder if they're from fights or if he's sick.
And then he bit me on the foot. Then, a few minutes later, he bit our neighbor below us, too. Rabies can make an animal appear alternatively lethargic and aggressive, which this cat seems to be.
I walked over to Urgent Care, but they said they didn't have the rabies vaccine, and I should check at the pharmacy.
But when I called the pharmacy, they said there's no rabies in Hawaii and nobody on the island carries the vaccine. Google agrees.
But maybe somebody snuck something on the islands with rabies, and I'll be the first case. I thought about flying to California to get the vaccine, but we have a busy weekend planned.
So I just put some triple antibiotic onto some band aids.
And slapped them over the bites.
