Spectrum raised our internet rates a bit, so I looked into other options. Hawaiian Telcom is very good, but it's not available at our address.
T-Mobile also has home internet. We have T-Mobile for our phones, so we can see how fast their internet would be, which is 300 down, 5 up.
Which is a bit slower down than Spectrum, and a fair amount slower up, which is 600 down, 20 up.
I get hot exercising at home, but there's a nice breeze on the balcony, so I often go out there.
We got an email from Viking about how our Rhine river cruise is going to be modified due to low water levels.
Day 3, Cologne, is changing to Rotterdam, and day 4, Koblenz, is changing to a bus trip.
Which, according to others on the same trip right now, is aa 12-hour bus trip with a couple hours stop in Cologne for lunch.
That's a bit disappointing, but it's better than what happened to these people. There wasn't another ship to transfer to, so their cruise simply ended 3 days early.
This person didn't enjoy the missed ports, ship swapping, and bus ride.

This person said it's a known issue and it's smarter to go another time of year.
Cologne and Koblenz were some of the larger cities I was excited to see, so that's disappointing. Also, the total solar eclipse is now on the day we'll be on the bus, and according to others, we'd be arriving right when it's at the maximum, making seeing it difficult.
It'll be around 88% in Germany, so I'll have to think about the best way to see it.
Viking said they've give us a future cruise voucher for 45% off our next cruise, but since they routinely have 30% off specials, that's not too much of a benefit.
Huggo's is a waterfront restaurant on Alii Drive.
Huggo's on the Rocks is right beside it.
And is less upscale, but doesn't have reservations and has live music and hula dancing in the evenings.
Since Huggo's had a table for walk-ins right now, we decided to eat there.

They only have 20 places; 2 minutes after 7am, half were gone.
And 4 minutes after 7pm, they were completely booked.
An offer to upgrade our first red-eye flights. We can still sleep in the cheaper seats pretty well, though, so we don't need this.

A game within a game: I like to see how soon I can get a screenshot of our final answer when I know what the word is. What makes it difficult is there's a bit of a lag between when I press the screenshot buttons and the actual screenshot getting taken. The ideal shot is the smallest amount of green in the final unknown letter, and this one is nearly perfect.

We needed to take a shuttle bus over to international departures.
The Club has a neat logo: a bird of paradise.
There's one in this terminal and the international departures terminal, and we'd rather go over there first so we're closer to our gate.

We chose to eat at Peets. $20 for a breakfast burrito; I wonder what it costs at a non-airport location.

We exchanged some more dollars for euros, although I think the exchange rate and fee at the airport kiosk was not very good.

When we have red eye flights, we like to get two window seats one in front of the other so Ogii can stretch out her feet onto the back of my armrest.
It's long enough we can get nearly a full night's sleep.
Although we did wake up a few times, like at sunset.
