2011 Nov 10 | Jenny: Universal City Walk (Jillian's, Howl at the Moon)

Thursday night we went to Universal City Walk.

I didn't realize how big it was.

There are tons of shops.

Fountains.

That's cool and it prevents people from sitting on it.

Wow, that's expensive.

Saddle Ranch Chop House.

Which has a mechanical bull.

I thought the Hot Topic sign was all red? Rainbow just doesn't fit into its image.

Marilyn Monroe made out of candy.

Indoor skydiving.

Jillian's were taken over by Dave & Busters but some kept their name.

Perfect timing: we can watch the football game while we eat.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody throw the Skee Ball completely out of the game and onto the floor three times in a game before. ;)

I'm horrible at these, but Jenny likes them.

Last time I played this at Dave & Busters I got the section just beside the jackpot twice in a row.

And this time I got the jackpot!

200 tickets.

I dunno about this one; I've never seen anybody win much.

See? It went around and around a few times and then fell in the 1-ticket hole.

Oh, wait, it gave her a jackpot anyway! Shh... don't tell any of the workers.

This ended up costing us the most because we played four coins for the max jackpot, but that only gave you five balls, and it was basically as expensive as every other game per play.

Aw, not enough points on the card.

Time to go count our tickets.

Not bad for $20; it helps that we both got a jackpot.

Our loot.

And I'm off to a good start.

Uh oh, she beat me this time.

I think I deserve the win on this one for thinking outside of the box.

First time we filled it all the way up without a winner.

The main reason we went there on Thursday night is that Howl at the Moon has free entrance with a college ID (which we both still have) and cheap beers.

Not quite as fun as in Houston, but maybe it was just too early and the whole audience wasn't singing along yet.
