2013 Dec 01 | Camelot Golfland, Yorba Linda Park, Medieval Times

It's going to be tougher and tougher to sell glasses to patients as the online sales get more pervasive.

We went to Camelot Golfland on Saturday morning.

They had the old-school Street Fighter 2.

Mini bowling alleys.

Motorcycle games.

Shooting games.

This was a simulated roller coaster.

Laser tag.

It was a decent-sized area.

I did pretty well, looks like 5th place. Not sure how somebody got over twice that. I thought I shot the base a lot, which usually is worth more, but maybe I was shooting the wrong one?

Ogii with a knight in armor statue.

I'm not sure what this wire pig had to do with anything, but it was cute in the Christmas outfit.

We both got a hole in one on this hole.

You have to swing pretty hard for this hole, but the road is right there; I wonder how many cars get hit.

In front of the castle.

It was a pretty place.

There were a lot of water traps.

And a lot of these hills around the holes, which I hate. Ogii took about 20 hits to get this one.

This hole looks cool with the curves...

.. but it was really hard. You had to go over this bridge, and Ogii hit it into the water about 10 times. Then you have to reach into the water and get your ball.

And again.

And again.

My turn to get my ball.

And again. It says keep out, but what else are you supposed to do if you hit your ball in here?

This hole was like those Skee-ball games.

I wish I would have gotten a video of this. Ogii's ball was closer to the hole than mine, so I hit her ball with mine, her ball went off to the corner, and mine made it in. Yeah, I'll never be able to do that again.

Another one of these dumb hill ones.

We were playing a dollar a point, right?

Her iPhone takes really good pictures. The panoramic mode has a line to follow which makes it really easy.

We went to Medieval Times that evening.

With one of the actors.

The horses were over in this area.

Higher-level men drink more, women drink less.

The doors were really shiny.

Our black and white knight.

Us.

The king and princess.

Horse jumping.

Falconer.

Good food.

Sword vs axe.

Jousting.

Sword fight on horses.

Double swords.

And the bad guy loses.

A Facebook ad. I doubt most sugar mommas look like that.

Register to win a gun at the Aberdeen airport. You're not gonna see that at LAX.

Most of the moving walkways had these evenly spaced, but this one they were pretty random.

There's a map on the plane that shows you where you are in real time.

Looking towards downtown over three big roads.

This woman is camping out for Black Friday at least three days in advance every year.

The one office has a few earwigs crawling around. I picked it up and took it outside. It tried to pinch me, though, which make me throw it and scream like a little girl.

The plant on Ogii's balcony hasn't been doing very well. I think I know why; this squirrel likes to chew on it.

Another videogame party.

This one didn't have as many people, so I got to play more.

Lots of controllers scattered around.

It says no parking, but this Corvette is here. I wonder if he's the owner and knows when the gate will open.

Paddle boating on the lake at Yorba Linda Park.

Us.

A suit store in the building Ogii works in had was having a really big sale. I went in looking for a nice pair of shoes and also picked up a suit. It was a bit more expensive than what I usually pay, $1 and $10 for previous suits at thrift store, but it looks a bit nicer, so we'll see if it and the shoes last longer than my current ones.
